In a small village in Hooghly, West Bengal, an scary incident has left the residents in a state of panic. For the past few days, strange and unsettling sounds have been echoing from the rooftop of a house in Bhuagachhi South Para of Polbar, Hooghly. These sounds, which begin at dusk and persist until sunrise, have led the locals to believe that the building may be haunted by ghosts.
Local resident Uttam Biswas, who lives in the house from which the sounds are heard, has reported a series of bizarre occurrences. He claims that as night falls, bricks are mysteriously thrown onto the roof, causing him to fear for his safety. Uttam, himself frightened by these events, has had to vacate his home and seek refuge elsewhere due to the ongoing disturbances. Strange noises, he asserts, can also be heard from within the house.
The situation has led to a mass escape from the village, with residents relocating to their relatives' homes in an attempt to escape the ominous occurrences. The prevalent belief among the villagers is that these incidents are the work of supernatural entities that become active after nightfall.
Upon hearing of the situation, members of the Bandel-Magra Science Center of the West Bengal Science Center conducted an investigation. Their findings revealed that the sounds may not be the result of paranormal activity, but rather a deliberate act by an unknown individual with malicious intent.
Sandeep Singh, the Secretary of the Science Center, clarified that the noises were not of a paranormal origin, but rather appeared to be the consequence of intentional actions on the rooftop. He affirmed his commitment to dispelling superstitions related to ghosts and vowed to return to the village if necessary.
